PF Bar Apart
Bart van der Leck was a Dutch painter and designer who along with Theo van Doesburg and Piet Mondriaan founded the De Stijl movement. Based on his painting compositions which included simple geometric forms, he designed in 1941 a typeface for the art magazine Flax. In 2002, Parachute® created a redesigned digital typeface in 3 weights based on the original drawings. It included revised letterforms influenced by Theo van Doesburg, unicase characters and support for Greek as well. PF Bar Apart was published in 2002 and appeared in our 2003 catalog.
