PF Burostijl

Quick art history lesson: Bauhaus and De Stijl were, perhaps, the most influential movements in the mass acceptance of modern art. Rooted in the intersection of these massively important design concepts, PF Burostijl is our studio's tribute to designers who opted to use simple functional elements to create typefaces and to legendary masters like Théo Ballmer aka the Swiss graphic designer, photographer, and professor who is best known for his Modernist poster designs which influenced the development of the International Typographic Style.

Available in six cuts, PF Burostijl unique character provides legibility and a pure modernist mystique for setting titles for books and magazines, but is also valuable for use in large sizes. The black version in particular has a strong impact which contrary to Regular and Bold, it comes only with uppercase letters which include alternate variations in the lowercase positions. An ideal typographic choice that brings a very European sense of clarity, structure, and modernity to your project in hand, PF Burostijl is a perfect alternative to several devoid of spirit classic sans.
