PF Garamond Classic

One of the most delicate and distinctive versions of Garamond was designed by Robert Hunter Middleton in 1929. The Ludlow Company needed a large type library to compete with established type and matrices offered by other suppliers such as Monotype or ATF, so they commissioned Middleton to design a new version of Garamond to serve as a formal equivalent to those produced by other companies. Parachute's Garamond Classic is a graceful interpretation based on ATF's original sheets but mostly on Middleton's design. What sets this series apart is a number of display styles which enhance the elegance and spirit of the entire family both in Latin and Greek.
