PF Macsimile
Inspired by the avant-garde graphic designer and a proponent of the Italian Futurist movement Bruno Munari and his seminal solo exhibition that took place in Tokyo back in 1965, where he displayed his “original xerographies”. A product of aesthetic research on the creative use of photocopying machines, PF Macsimile pays tribute to an era when the fax machine was a favourite creative tool for designers. This typeface is available in 5 styles: the simple Fax, the Oldfax which provides a rather faded copy effect, the bold and shaky Darkcopy, Xerocopy which provides a multi-photocopied effect and Wavez, the last being the most influenced by Munari's trailblazing attempt to encapsulate speed and waviness to his body of work.
