Designed circa 2002 and extended throughout the years, PF Overdose is a typeface that evokes nostalgia for the yesteryears when the punk and the grunge movement shook our messy world. The typeface's design revives the visual effect of characters found on embossing tape - a labelling medium of hard plastic, made with small handheld devices. With heavy textures, its aesthetics deliver a rebellious essence to the message conveyed. Available in caps and lowercase, PF Overdose comes in three unique styles to resemble the variety of thicknesses found in embossed type depending on the pressure one applies to the label maker device.

Ideal for projects that aim to break the norms, this bold type design works equally well in positive and negative environments. Opting for change in an oversaturated neutral typographic field, it provides a rough, honest quality when applied to commercial advertising and covers. Contrary to its name, Overdose is an instantly expressive type design that is absolute safe to use.
